G1 Vortex Rare?
Hey,
Just wondering.. is G1 Vortex considered rare? I'm been casually searching for him for a while now, and can't seem to find one at a descent price.
All I'm trying to do is complete Bruticus, so doesn't need to be in the best shape, just needs to work as the Arm, so it doesn't even need a head... but can't even seem to find anyone with a Junker they are trying to get rid of.
Maybe I'll find one at TFcon2011... Fingers crossed.

I wouldnt say rare, not in abundance as some of the other limbs but he's still definitely out there. Typical price it seems on evilbay for a complete one is around $40.

i (think) i have 2 of them, ill see if i can find it for you.
i dont have all the bots for bruticus lol just 2x vortex and 1x blastoff so i dont mind getting rid of one if i can find it.

I think he just breaks easy, hence the inflated prices. As well, I think someone is always looking for one so if a good priced one comes up, it disappears quick.

the head is paper thin connected to the torso, when you transform his arms, they will crush the head supports off, so be careful, i refuse to transform any g1 vortex i have in hand because of it

I've had multiple people ask me for Vortex because they always say their heads snapped off. I've had multiple ones that I've sold and neither of the heads came off so it kind of confused me. Yet people still ask me for them.
And if you're looking for one, it does need the head. In fact that's the primary reason they're so expensive, like I said. The head is how it connects to Bruticus.

I had a hell of a time finding him a while back. I just got lucky that a local member managed to track one down on his travels.

I'm not too worried about the head, as long as it has the connector arm, so I can make the Arm stay on Bruticus I'll be happy.
