Weird, that black stuff doesn't look as much like paint as mold lubricant or something. Are the pink parts cast or painted? Do the black smears come off with rubbing alcohol?

Thanks for the review. I think I will be following this advice... but for now it will remain on the pass list.

Compared to the video they posted a month ago this almost looks like a ko.

All the pink parts appear to be painted. Haven't tried to remove the black smears yet, I'm scared I'll ruin the pink paint apps by accident.

It's something worth a shot, maybe on one of those underside pieces that wont really be seen ever.

It's also possible that the smearing may be due to it being one of the first figures through the die, but I can't back that up without seeing more of these, and that doesn't necessarily address the other paint issues, like the pink "bleed" at certain places. I do hope this is an isolated case, however.

Compared to other 3rd party sets, how does the QC compare?

As a representative of China, I apologize.

That paint app is not acceptable, I guess I'll have to pass too

Absolutely horrible. I was truly excited for this mould, but I'm completely and utterly glad that I didn't bother throwing my money away on this item.

I can't wait to see the TFCon version now.
