Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

Don't trust EB Games at Richmond centre anymore. Just found out they had one of my orders weeks ago and they never informed me so they sold it to someone else.

Plus last week, they called me for a preorder I really wanted was in stock. But when I went there, they sold it to someone else. That's happened so many times at that eb games.

Will Legacy wave 1 be plentiful like past years of wave 1 figures?

At these prices I’d say so.

waves 1 always end up easy to find and frankly despite distro issues... the prices are drkiving people away, and a lot of the hardcore fans have switched to preorders

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

Hi Vancouver folk,

Back after a looong absence. I was very active in the local transformers community 8-10 years back (worked at Ages 3 and Up) 2 careers and a Covid lockdown I find myself here.

After a long chat with my lady I?m clearing out my storage of things I don?t think will be displayed in the future (despite how much I love them) as such I have a lot of deluxe, voyager (hasbro and Takara) and third party TFs that I would prefer to let go to locals but I have no concept of current value on any of this stuff.

If anyone has any suggestions on how to best post this stuff or a resource for pricing I would be grateful for the feedback.

I?ll start taking pictures tonight, gonna be a lot of pieces. Not looking to get top dollar just hoping to add to the house fund.

I?d also be open to trade for masterpieces I don?t have (on the condition my GF does not find out)

Cheers
Adam

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat

Search for the item on eBay and look at the completed auctions and sort by most recent to see get a general idea of a toys value. Keep in mind eBay tends to be a bit expensive because of the cut they take (12%.)

More or less this. It is SUPER important to sort by completed/sold. eBay is full of absurd asking prices. You need to see what things actually go for. Keep in mind that selling via Cybertron or private should be a bit less due to no eBay fees and a smaller potential sales base. Don't look at Amazon or anything. Silly aftermarket that makes no sense.

If you're in BC post on FB marketplace. There are also a couple FB groups for Canadian buy sell and trade.

Even better search FB for Vancouver transformers collectors. A good place to sell and folks who will be willing and able to help you out. Might be able to clear a lot out that way to local folks. A lot of us meet near a3u to do our swaps anyway lol
