Speaking of Toy Traders - they are stocked with the latest wave of FOC (dlx and voy), and the latest wave of Prime Voyagers. I posted it in the sighting thread, but am putting it here to for you guys :-)

So now I'm contemplating pulling the trigger on HFTD Leader Class Starscream. Anybody own him/got one for sale? He seems to be the only decent lead class-sized Bayverse Decepticon with great robot and vehicle modes.

That's what they derived from the new Stingray concept? I guess I like the back but the front is pretty uninspired. I miss old Corvettes.

I don't even want to think about TF4 toys yet... I wonder how many characters I will have to replace again. Maybe none, if Hasbro's recent dumbing down/downsizing/unpainting trends continue.

Well if MP Sideswipe and Red Alert can take the form of an official Lambo Countach. Maybe Lambo will agree to let Hasbro/Bay use a new Lambo model for TF4. At least it well be slightly more G1-ish than whatever the Ferrari was in DOTM...

Who knows. I have a feeling movie licensing is a bit different than just a couple relatively exclusive toy releases.

lol, the Ferrari wasn't even Sideswipe either, but it would've been a better fit than a silver Corvette. That's why I use ROTF Swerve as Sideswipe and the silver one as 'Tracks' or maybe even Silverstreak in my collection.

Back to that new 'Vette... it's definitely an improvement over the last 3 generations. But I'd like to see them go the whole nine yards and do a straight-up Stingray (C3)-inspired model. I guess that's what the new one is supposed to be, but they should've followed through a little more on the retro design cues.

Got a pleasant surprise today regarding the G2 bruticus I ordered from Amazon a while back. They're refunding me $7.71 in import fees. So the set shipped only cost me $72.30.

Unexpected, but a nice post-christmas present.
