Re: Adult Lego Fans
Saw some of the new 2013 Star Wars Lego hitting the TRU here in Fredericton. I am really wanting the Battle for Hoth one. Especially where it comes with a snow speeder, speeder bike, e-Webb blaster cannon, turret and a bunch of minifigs. And surprisingly, it's only $65.
Just one thing is giving me doubts and that's the size of the snow speeder. Looks considerably smaller than the previous ones (I've got the old one from the '90s), but lots of detail. Anyone have a chance to crack open this set yet?

None yet, I think most of the sets were assembled once and then disassembled, so no prolonged pressure on any of the connections.
The MegaBloks in storage, however, are showing signs of age despite very little use. Brittleness, warping, etc. Guess the plastic just isn't as stable as Lego's, since they're stored in the exact same condition.

Picked up the TMNT Sewer Lair playset last night and I'm really impressed. It's a steal for the price. Loving it.

I've heard the exact same thing from several people. It's definitely a pass for me. Way too expensive for my taste.
I think I'm just going to pick up the Krang/Michaelangelo set when I find it and a couple other minifigures online and then call it quits for now.

Re: Adult Lego Fans
Congrats! I don't have the patience (or skills) to feel that many bags.
I do wonder how durable Mr. Gold will be in the long run. I have some swords from the Kingdoms series that were gold like that and have already started flaking. How long with Mr. Gold last?

Re: Adult Lego Fans
I absolutely won't have the patience to feel that many bags to get Goldy... That and I suck at doing that anyway. I am only right 50% of the time when I feel bags, so I just buy randoms anyway XD
