Repaints & Minor Mods Repaint - Prime RID Optimus Prime to Nemesis Prime

So after getting FE Prime in the mail, he's easily replaced my RID Prime. Instead of just selling the RID Prime or having two Primes, I decided to repaint him to Nemesis Prime. I decided to add the teal lines to him like the Takara AM-25 has when stickered; lines are done with no guides.

Paints used (all Tamiya): XF-1 Flat Black, XF-5 Flat Green, XF-28 Dark Copper, X-7 Red, X-10 Gun Metal, X-14 Sky Blue

I also hand paint all my figures, no airbrush.

I haven't done photos yet in alt-mode. But all the figures he's posted with here are completely repainted or slightly painted, except the FE Prime.

I definitely like your choice of colors. You may want to consider laying down tape though when you pain in order to get some sharper lines (even without air brushing).

yup, sokar's right, if your going to lines like that, specially a high contrast color, you really want to mask off,

trick is let your black cure fully (3 days on tamiya) THEN mask off, do details, then before it's even dry, gently peel off the mask at a angle away from the fresh, should give you crisp lines that will take the great color scheme and make it shine.
