Ultra Magnus G1 Reissue Missile Launcher

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if anyone out there knew if the TRU re-issue g1 ultra magnus missile launchers could fit the original short red missiles from the original g1 ultra magnus. I'm thinking of getting some missile launchers for my city commander armor.

If you're just getting them for city commander, why not use G1 reproduction missiles and launchers? Darkov from tfw2005 sells them. He has a thread, and is in the process of working on a website. It might be cheaper than getting the launchers from an encore reissue.

If you read through the thread, there is a lot of feedback, including pictures, most of it positive. Most pictures are in the last few pages. There is minor flashing (leftover plastic) that you might have to cut off with an exacto knife. Colours don't always match exactly (especially to the vintage stuff), but I haven't seen anyone complain.

He also does some intersting things, like a hybrid g1/classics seeker null ray and missiles. The top is g1, but the bottom fits the classics launchers. Gives your classics seekers a more g1 look.

g1 missiles will fit the reissue launchers with no mods at all.(just no spring in the reissues or vice versa)
