How did FP's "Protector" look???
I've read on a few posts that FansProject's showed off some of their upcoming projects at their table at TFCON.
I've been really looking forward to their Rodimus upgrade set ever since the blurred sneak preview pics surfaced a few months ago.
I remember pressing my face up against the display window of a toy store on East Hastings back in '86 wishing I could own both Hot Rod and Rodimus Prime.
Mitigating circumstances prevented me from owning 'The Chose One(s)', but 13 years later that will soon be a reality (picked up Classics Rodimus recently in anticipation).
Can anyone who attended TFCON and browsed FP's table shed some light on this sure to be awesome set?
Did they have a prototype on display? Did it rawk? When are they going to release it? Any price point revelations? Will it better suit (pardon the pun) Classics Rodimus or Henkei Hot Rodimus?

Re: How did FP's "Protector" look???
FP showed some large concept carboards of Protector blacked out but sadly no hard copy figure. You can see the image in your "comic/instructions" included with your TFcon exclusive Powered Commander on the last page along with their new concept for Springer.
*EDIT* Oh and it looks like it will rock......... rock so many it will hurt.

They didn't have the prototype there that I saw, only a poster with the actual prototype "blacked out" but you could get a sense of the shape.
I'll leave the other answers to those who know more than me.

Re: How did FP's "Protector" look???
they didn't have the prototype on display...just a poster of it with a clearer profile shot, and blacked out vehicle mode shots
i talked to FP people and said they want it out by the end of the year or early next year
they said price wise would be $70-75 max
i'd perfer to put it on my henkei rodimus (as it just seems right)

Re: How did FP's "Protector" look???
Frak me...no prototype??? I guess the G3 trailer is their focus right now.
Thanks for the tip, Protoman. I'll be inspecting my Powered Commander's comic/instructions when he gets to me.
$75 seems expensive but it also makes sense considering my Shadow Commander set was well over $100 CDN after shipping. And don't even ask me how much I just shelled out for PC!
My insides tell me I'll be picking up Henkei Hot Rodimus too just so I've got both Hot Rod and Rodimus Prime...

They have alot of things in the wind but after the Superion Upgrade and G3 Trailor, FP plans on their Warbots and Rodimus Trailor. The armor pic looked awesome.

Re: How did FP's "Protector" look???
Why would you need 5?
I'd be grateful if I can get just one...
...well, leaving aside my hope to one day see a 'Despoiler' version in Shattered Glass colours (and goatee), too.
