EZ Devastator Short on Stock in Japan?!

My local JP Toy Import store were going to order 23 sets of EZ Devastator, but today he got a message from the Japanese supplier, there is not enough supply for the set in Japan, and re-supply wont happen till november. My supplier managed to grab 3 sets (instead of 23...sigh)

I am not sure about online retailers, just want you guys know, online suppliers may not be able to fulfill all the pre-orders.

PS: Don't worry Chans, got yours reserved ^^; it might come next week or the week after

Yeah, I think Takara probably underestimated how massively this set was going to sell. It seems like everyone wants one.

probably cause it "actually" combines and has seperate bot modes.still makes me wonder why if they could simplify the devestator design to the point where these legends can have all bot/vehicle and combined mode, wtf happened to the supreme devastator????????

Wait until you get one... Devastator has limited leg articulation because of all the weight. I need to positionned them properly otherwise he falls flat on his face. Adding more joints to create robot modes for Long Haul and Rampage would make Devastator collapse in no time even in his most stable stance. There's some serious weight up there.

take out the electronics and such, he might be a little less heavy, and make him walk on all fours like the movie, more balanced out weight

on topic, that sucks, but not surprised, it's one of the few figures from the movie that have appeal to me, and that i was planning on getting, i have seen a lot posts saying they want it as well

What I do not get is why keep the first wave shor supply while planning to reissue in few month? maybe it is some sort of marketing strategy?

Grrr... argghhh... I hope my BBTS preorder doesn't get cancelled! I preordered pretty early on, so I should be okay... This is when I pray to a god I don't believe in.
