 That Cybertron Defense Team one looks like it was designed to be that way by Has/Tak themselves! The same for the Energon terrorcons. There didn't happen to be any instructions with those pics were there?

I've seen these a LOOOOONG time ago...
That Cybertron Defense Team one isn't something you can just call an "alternate transformation"; if I remember correctly, you had to take apart your team and re-assemble them. Look at the feet in the combined mode (CD Scattershot's legs); they're not connected to anything else that's part of CD Scattershot.

The first one is called "Final Fortress", it was made WAAAAYYYY back in 2004 on TFW2005. I have more pictures of that one somewhere. Namely the "updated version"

ACtoy had a alternate transformation competition last year, i saw someone gave Energon Shockwave 10+ transformation, it was pretty wicked
