Re: Much Love To Paypal !

Sorry to hear this BS, for future reference though, one should always print the Paypal address and not the Ebay address since Paypal will only care if you want to the address they have in their records.

DK, I say you should mail him a piece of crap to show him what you feel about him.

Just make sure it has proper tracking, so Paypal is content.

Re: Much Love To Paypal !

So far I am in the process of finding out if I got ripped on ebay for $70 USD. First the pricing was way too much for what I bought and it has been 3 weeks since I paid and still have not recieved the items. I have been in contact with the seller and he said he will check out the situation. I will wait to see what he has to say today before I try to put a track on it. However, I have not had a single problem buying from this forum or at tfw2005. Every one I have dealt with here or there have been great and I will only buy from these two sites from now on. Damn evil-bay. Just God damn them!

Seriously, good name.

I have been using PayPal, but rarely for transactions with people I don't really know... this thread will make me think twice next time. eBay seems a lot riskier to me.

***UPDATE***

Turns out I got to a sympathetic ear at Paypal and I submitted my evidence.

I'll know what happens in the next 10 days or so...

But this guy has totally gone into the shadows, not a peep from him.

I've had good and bad experiences with Pay Pal. The bad is that the recipient of the money gets charged the 4% fee. Good for buyer as its convenient.

Re: Much Love To Paypal !

Hey, thanks for the info guys. I had no idea about this, and I sold 4 Powered Commanders through paypal, so this info really saved me.

According to Canada Post site, all their parcels to the US have tracking, although not necessarily a destination signature.

I don't know exactly what they could do, but if they feel you owe money or something, they could potentially slap collections on you and that is something you don't want on have on your credit report.

Great news. I still think you shoud drive down there and beat the shit out of him just on principle. It just gets worse and worse when it comes to Ebay and Paypal. It's rare when I bother to go to Ebay anymore, and when I do, It's only for something where, worst case scenario, I can walk away from it without too much stress about what I lost on the deal. I've actually been doing a lot of selling on sites like cybertron to fellow collectors, or on Craigs list for toys I no longer want. Always cash, and in person in a public location.

Re: Much Love To Paypal !

I just sent Powered Commander to some nice USers. The tracking options include setting up multiple email addresses to recieve update auto-emails.
