Is that the correct term?

I know MISB = Mint in sealed box. Completely new toy. Never opened.

Let say I bought my last toy but its was in a time I started losing interest in collecting. So I only opened the box without damaging the box and took a look on the toy and put it back.

I didn't touch any of those plastic string used to attach the toy to the plastic cover.

Can I sell it as ''MIB'' or its considered ''Loose''?

Also most of my toys were only used as display, transformed 2 twice to be sure they are ok. Are they also considered ''Loosed'' even if their articulation is fine?

Re: Is that the correct term?

That would be MIB

Loose is considered without a box.

Re: Is that the correct term?

Just describe the item when selling and you did pretty good in your post.

While the item you opened isn't technically MISB, to me it is still new and should sell for the same as a MISB sample. However you are selling it though just make sure you state that you opened it to check the contents only.

As for you loose items, when selling just make sure to let the buyer know everything about them. If they are complete, have instructions, etc. Telling people they were used for dsiplay only, what conditions they were in, free from smoke, light, pets etc. will also help you out. There is a big difference between a loose BW Optimus Primal from 14 years ago that an 8 year old owned and one a collector opened a couple years ago to stick in a cupboard.

Details, they protect you and the seller, don't over generalize by forcing your items into 3 categories (MISB, MIB, loose.)

Box opened = MIB. People will know what you mean, especially if you add what you just wrote in your description.

Yeah, I'd just say "opened but put back in box" or something similar to avoid confusion or people getting mad.

Re: Is that the correct term?

Alright. Is there a site where I can get a idea for a price for my loose toys? I haven't followed TF for a long time, so I don't which has more value or more in demand.

Also if I were to make a topic to sell my toys. What should I say if I can only sell in my city? I don't know how to use EBay and online stuff.

But I have no problem going anywhere as long its inside my city (Montreal).

try making a sales thread here.like you,i',m also ebay/paypal stupid,never used it and probably never will.
just make sure you put in bold letters at the top of your thread "LOCAL ONLY".(though "local only" sometimes doesn't work as alot of people just skim the top and scroll right down to see what's for sale/etc)

Re: Is that the correct term?

Thanks for all the info.

The only problem left is knowing a proper price for all my TF figurines:

Deluxe:
Cybertron Defense Hot Shot
Movie 2007 Cliffjumper

Voyager:
Universe Blaster
Universe Vector Prime
Cybertron Defense Scattershot
Movie 2007 Thundercracker
ROTF Grindor
ROTF Fallen
ROTF Burning Fallen

Ultra:
Universe Predacon Bruticus
Cybertron Defense Red Alert

All loose. I planned on doing this:

Deluxe = 5$
Voyager = 10$
Ultra = 15$

But I am not sure if I am being ripped off.

Re: Is that the correct term?

I think your prices are reasonable for MIB toys.
These are priced to sell, IMO.

Re: Is that the correct term?

I think your prices could be bumped up $5. If they're all loose and in great condition, $5 is a bit generous for a deluxe toy even though those are not the most sought after TFs.

I don't really do any selling, so for what it's for that's my 2 cents.
