I legitimately don't understand the PE line

but I think there's a portion of the TF collector base that disdains buying 3P stuff so I guess this is for them? Same guys that buy botcon sets or whatever I suppose.

Hey Hasbro, I know you're big into making your Platinum Editions look like abstract art, but how about you just give us figures in their proper colors and knock about 30% off your MSRP?

I do understand they are trying to make the panels less visible when Optimus is in robot mode, which is a very nice touch. Unfortunately, Hasbro is releasing this set a little too late, because the CW Optimus is A LOT better than the Classic Prime, and you don't have to think twice to replace the Classic Optimus with CW Optimus on anyone's classic shelf. On the side note, they should retire the Classic Optimus mode already and make us a new Generations Voyager Megatron which everyone needs on their Classic Collection(No more Nerf Gun, Tank, or Jet pls).
