What Are YOU Doing?

Seeing as how we are all linked by a common obsession, I was curious as to how this obsession was fueled. How do you pay the big bucks for the big bots? What do you do for a living?

Personally, I am a medical imaging technologist. In short, I take X-Rays for a living. I see the broken, the battered and the bruised for a living, and put then in very uncomfortable positions.

What is your story?

My story isn't as exciting as yours

I had spent 3 years at SAIT, my first year I took Automated Systems Engineering , which I decided after a year I didn't like so I switched to Broadcast Engineering, which I finished, got my diploma, and... 4 years later, I now work in an office, doing Document Management for a big engineering company, working on the Oil Sands.

Oddly enough, while I won't say how much I am making, I am making a decent amount more than I would if I had actually gotten a job working as a Broadcast Technician/Engineer at a local TV or Radio station.

And thats me in a nutshell. The Dilbert comics are but a reality in my world, and I one day dream of bashing my work's printer like they do in Office Space

That makes perfect sense to me. I found in the health care field, you have to drag us kicking and screaming to see a doctor. And by the way, I don't drink either, too many repercussion.

I've worked at my families car dealership since before I can remember. I am a salesmen and assistant manager and just love my job, it's a great feeling to put people into the perfect car that suits their every day needs. Sure, you meet some jerks, but every job has that.

Take a care Prowl_2009, I have discovered quite painfully that if you work for your parents business, no matter how loyal, hard working and such you are, as soon as you say the dreaded F word all future employers tend to shun you like the plague.
