originally i was going to sacrifice a grapple for this guy(along with another for motormaster),then hasbro gave us this gdo exclusive.
i had already altered him somewhat to more reflect his g1 self more,and then i found the awesome tutorial posted by "spoonman" on how to remove the sleeper unit in alt mode to more resemble his original mitsubishi truck mode.
his new chest/crotch armor simply plugs into a new hole in his folding black chest chunk,and in alt mode it clips into the slots on the bottoms of his feet as alt mode armor.
it's made from two leg halves of the darthvader tie fighter,xover ironman rear crotch halfnand a lego chunk for the post,all fused,screwed and then hot glued together.
his two combining fireball cannons are made from a k/o g1 dreadwing's rifles with 4 and a half cm long struxx barrels fused to the ends.
his ladder/swivel/mount attaches to his back with a magnet hidden behind his windshiled and imbedded into the stock black arm plate swivle that used to have his stock water cannon.
the ladder and main housing is taken from g1 inferno.
his front bumper was shaved down,and the remains were then grafted onto his heels/back bumper.this part turned out decent because in bot mode,he's essentially backwards,so now all of his weight was on his back,causing him to always tip over.but with the new heels,no more issue.
his yellowed ladder is due for a hydrogen peroxide bath as soon as we get some better weather here.
