I kind of expected it, but the random reduced price, well-after-the-fact ER Ironhide/Prowl 2-pack that I ordered a few months ago was cancelled today.


Not a huge deal as I only got it because it was cheaper and I'm happy enough with my Siege versions of the characters and the knowledge that at some point down the line they'll do earth mode versions again if I really want them. It wouldn't surprise me if variants of those ER molds along with Ratchet show up in SS86 at some point given that they're 3 characters from a signature moment in the movie.

I thought it was reported that both Ironhide and Ratchet earthmode will be rereleased in studio series (perhaps with deco changes like bullet holes through chest lol). Or maybe I'm dreaming.

They announced them for the Studio Series 86 line but it's not known if they will be a new mold or not.

It's kinda annoying that when you search for Transformers on Amazon, only half of the stuffs show up

Search "TRA GEN". It usually brings up most of the transformer stuff that doesn't come up.

Considering how hard it was to get either earth mode vanettes they likely be redecos I think. Just like the cliffjumper.

Yeah I could see them being repaints with battle damage or blast effects to create their death scene.

Perhaps a release of prowl with smoking eyes is also in the works...TR Brawn with smoking shoulder????? Who knows.
