Works for Zellers too since they have the same SKU for all deluxes as well.
And TRU's refund/exchange time is 45 days according to the receipt.

For exchange TRU staffs @ customer service may not even check your receipt. They will just confirm the items in exchange have the same SKU and you are good to go. So, unless the given items have been discontinued you may be able to exchange it beyond the time limit  YMMV, of course 
BTW, this trick definite doesn't work @ Walmart since they use the product barcodes in their system and all TFs have unique barcodes from Hasbro.

This sale is a joke...My local TRU had 4 toys this morning...all animated Wave 1. I was hopeing to pick up a new deluxe for my kids as he got a good report card, Grr...
