Post Your Transformers Haul - 2019 Edition

Got my Siege Soundwave hand covers/cassette player conversion kit, and Ultra Magnus gap fillers, and Battletrap's weapon set...

I never though I'd have to start getting upgrade kits and such, but here we are, with Hasbro being cheap as hell with empty sockets syndrome and very poor accessories cover for so many figures (the 3 insecticons for another example, had to get a set of their weapons too).

With Hound's and Sideswipe's upgrades that I also got earlier this year, at least my Siege collection looks and plays better now.

Last one I'd get would be Prowl shoulder missiles, but none I've seen looks all that great. I'd consider getting extra Sideswipe kits if nothing else comes up (and the get restocked)

I saw a review for the Soundwave upgrade kit, it works like shit, the radio mode doesn't stay together like, at all...

I got the rest of the Cyberverse Spark Armor first wave while they were on sale. Sky-byte is definitely the best of the four, what with having ball joints on his elbows.



After that is Prowl, who has a simple but fun transformation (if a bit odd in the shoulders) and a great armor (with shoulder missiles!). Mine has a knee that's wait more tight than the other and it's a bit of a pain.



Then I'd say is Jetfire who has a good weapon in armored form and has a slightly more complex transformation than first appear. The jet mode is still very much a robot on his back though.



And finally Starscream. He has the worse armor who barely hangs together as a bulldozer (though the way it accomodates his leg fins in robot mode is super clever!) and his transformation feels unfinished.He does have a waist swivel as a result of it, so there is that.


Armors are interchangeables but only Sky-byte's armor fits well on his chest and his drill only really works the same way as him with Prowl. The helmets can also be detached and swapped around if you wish.



Fun toy line and I'm looking forward to what they do next. We'll probably see recolors and partner swaps. I'm still stunned there were no Bumblebee, Optimus or Megatron in that first wave!

There is a wave 1 Spark Armor Optimus, he's bigger though, he combines with the ark.

Duh I knew that but I completely forgot.



Still surprised the smaller ones don't have a Bumblebee. Or a Windblade. I'd expect the Starscream mold to get a retool into Windblade. transformation is pretty on point for that.



I hope we get the other seekers, including Acid Storm and Slipstream as females... Only the head would need changing really.

The Cyberverse Warriors are all aweful piece of crap. I think Prowl might be the best one so far? If you want Cyberverse toys, just get the new Spark Armor basics...
