Nope, FF6. SoM is great, don't get me wrong, but FF6 is probably my all time favourite game. :P

This thread has kind of got me thinking about the old arcade games I used to sink quarters into in the 80s. There was one with what looked like a Russian guy with parachute pants I played a lot, and that turned out to be Karnov.
There is another which I can't remember much about, but it was a side scrolling action / adventure type game with a forest. And you collected orbs, and could spend them at the end of the levels for upgrades. I can't seem to remember any more than that.
