Bionicle

Has anyone here ever tried playing around with the bionicle sets....the glatorian legends are great figures....amazingly posable and just plain fun....good for those who want to do a bit of stop motion....also they are good with transformers due to the fact both are robotic alien races....some epic battles there

Re: Bionicle

During the drought this year, i bought up most of the Bionicle stuff i missed out.

around a year ago around this time i got back into Bionicle when i bought Glatorian Gelu.

I blame the fact i got into it on my friend Sixshotreviews2 on Youtube.

Re: Bionicle

We've been getting Bionicle figures almost every year from my Mom for the last few years. She always likes to get us a toy of some sort. They're neat

Re: Bionicle

I only have the first 3 sets of 6 that were released in 2002. Very cool toys.

Re: Bionicle

I bought a number of those smaller spider-like ones. Forget the names. They're kinda neat and they were dirt cheap. Other than that, I think I have a larger one with articulated fingers and a giant axe. I needed something to face off against my modified Titan XP from the LEGO Creators series. Actually, my original intent was to harvest the hands, the axe and a few other parts for Titan XP, but I never really got around to it.

Bionicle sets look to be compatible with the new Hero Factory sets (why wouldn't they be? its LEGO), so there's more room for some customization. Actually, I think the Ben10 Alien Force sets may be compatible too.
