I am told that by offering to some dealers first instead of the eBay sellers the makers are attempting to stop the huge price flucuation on these figures. The heart of the matter is that they are charging a lot at the factory level for these, that is what is driving the high prices.

Spencer.
Yes, I was referring to Ebay and not you. I know perfectly that your price hasn't changed. I'm also aware that you probably have the best prices for KO transformers.
I doubt Ebay sellers will ask 69.99$ for Mirage...probably they'll ask 100$ or more.

I'd love to get the KO Ratbat and Frenzy with KO Rumble and Buzzsaw to go with my Classic Soundwave if these damn movie figures didn't make me so broke...

What are the quality of these cassettes? I've been looking at them, but hesitant the pull the trigger.

They're actually really nice. Some of the best knockoffs I've ever seen. They look good, they transform well, and they're of pretty good quality, considering they're knockoffs.

Pretty good with metal parts like the real things esp. for the Lazerbeak/Buzzsaw and the Rumble/Frenzy molds. Ratbat does have a problem with its ears keep falling off... in fact Spencer has to send me a replacement Ratbat because it is shipped to me w/ one of the ears missing. To be honest the stickers could be better, though. For $10-15 per set I wouldn't complain.

I'm interested in the latest batch with translucence plastic parts... looks interesting.

The Mirage may be a bit overpriced but I think the prices on the cassettes are OK.
and that's a good thing?

You mean the KO cassetts quality? Or the price of the KO Mirage?

Re: KO Cassettes at ages3andup

Ratbat and Frenzy have arrived!!! They are really nice, even the tech specs are on the package. They both fit in the TRU classic Soundwave really well. Ratbat's ears and feet are a bit loose but Frenzy's pretty much perfect. Great buy for thirty bucks shipping included.
