Re: DUDE! What were your favorite parts of Tfcon?

as it was my first convention but not my last (fan expo is soon and I want to meet HULK HOGAN so bad) I would have to say the whole day saturday was awesome so packed and nice to see some of you that I could recognize. It was great seeing the Cosplay stuff and meeting alot of you and it has sparked my interest and I am going to have to see what I can come up with for next year. I would also say seeing how diverse of a crowd that collects Tranformers is AWESOME and I hope it stays strong for years to come. My wife was with me also and she had the best time and can't wait to go again, she had such a great time chatting it up with alot of the custom vendors there. We were the couple that was being Escorted around by my new Con-Buddie ======= Donatello it was so awesome finding it there and it was so awesome making people jealous other than the eyes bieng scratched a little and the left arm is a little dirty is is in great shape would anyone have any advice how to clean him up would be nice thanks...

Oh lots of highlights for me.

Meeting the Voice actors for G1 is always a plus.
Seeing Mark again as we do every year. I enjoy seeing him and look for him each time I go <3

I got a number of Starscream toys I was wanting and found a few more I did not know existed. What a treat!

This year I treated my husband to the holiday because he paid for it last year and before. Now I got a great new job I can return the kindness. That to me was the best bit.

Re: DUDE! What were your favorite parts of Tfcon?

SO MANY awesome moments. If I can name a few offhand....

-The Friday customizing class. GREAT experience; as someone who's done it since it existed I really enjoyed the move to Fridays. Great figure too and a great table (we nicknamed ourselves the "pro" table due to how most of us were all custom class regulars)

-Guber showing up on Friday and popping into said class, totally surprising everyone who thought he wasn't gonna be here. AWESOME surprise and it was great to see him/hang with him.

-Sitting next to Malwave during the Sunday WTF@TFW podcast recording. I don't think I need to elaborate why, to those who were there. I felt like one of the weasels from Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

-Saturday's third party panel, after which I went over and got talking to Cassy Sark, who had his third party portfolio on his tablet. Some AMAZING stuff he's got on there that's either been cancelled or not yet produced, including a particular retool of a as-of-yet-not-existing item that would break my wallet should it come into being, due to how many I personally would have to buy.

-Saturday: Getting a Ravage X-9. Also, being stupid enough to go do a live commentary of the Go-Bots movie late at night... we got halfway before everybody was ready to literally go to bed. (Of course, once I got moving I felt fine and went down to the bar for a couple more hours...)
-Sunday - when I disappeared to make a phone call, Lugnut got left with the group I was with at the bar. As I walked back over, I see Ian putting him back and showing everyone a photo, and the whole group bursting into laughter.
To make a long story short, this had happened:

-And last but not least, hanging out with the back table crew in the bar on Sunday night. Great people.

Re: DUDE! What were your favorite parts of Tfcon?

I really liked the GoBots homages this year, they didn't overwhelm the TFs but it was neat to see some tributes to this other robot show I hadn't watched since I was a kid. It was fun to watch the Rock Lords movie and learn a little bit about GoBots.

It was great to meet all the voice actors

The costume parade gets better every year. GANGNAM STYLE.

Karaoke was a ton of fun....now all they have to do is get the music for DARE.

Re: DUDE! What were your favorite parts of Tfcon?

First TFcon, came in from Florida with my wife. My favorite parts were both the last panels of Sat (Faction Feud) and Sun (Live Podcast). What was the part in common about both of those?? Guns!!!

I'm not the type of person to easily mingle and chat, but at least I got to put some faces to screen names that I either read or hear about on TFW. I did at least have the guts to finally go up to Chris in the dealer room and get a photo with him(what a fanboi, right?).

Wife and I made a pact that we wouldn't go to any restaurants that we have in America (we cheated on Sun morning McD breakfast). That Swiss Chalet down the street on Erin Mills was delicious, best rotisserie chicken we've had in forever. We actually went back again so we could split the brownie sundae (which was huge). Had to look up wtf a Caesar was after seeing it everywhere. Tim Horton's fruit explosion muffins ftw!

Can't wait to see some of the pictures. I'd like to see the Saturday group photo captioned where everyone names who they are. Oh, and the video of the podcast should be great.
