TFcon 2013 Art Hauls!

I see a lot of toy hauls, but very little artwork getting shown. TFcon had tons of artists out this year and I know there are people who will want to show off some of what they got.

So lets do so

Here is an assortment of the art I picked up, still wanted more but tried to pace myself.

Re: TFcon 2013 Art Hauls!

Usually I buy some art, providing it can fit in my laptop as that's the only thing I can protect it with, but this year's choices severely lacked in anything new Starscream wise. However I did get a commission from andrew griffith and I am very interested in one of his comic pannels. I'm gonna have to sit down and decide with that one as that is a very expensive piece but I want it so much - it would have to be shipped to me.

Re: TFcon 2013 Art Hauls!

I really look forward to the progress of this thread, especially for the commissioned pics people had done. I'd want to view them all if I could. XD

Anyways, I had Casey Coller draw my favourite TF, Tankor! He did an amazing job! Since his drawing was uncoloured, and I was bored today, I decided to add some colour myself. Scanned the pic and tried to emulate Joana Lafuente's style of colouring (since the 2 are paired up a lot). Don't know if I was successful or not with the emulation.

I have the pic here on my DA if anyone wants to see a better resolution version: http://fav.me/d6g88v6

I'm kicking myself in the rear end for note getting Livio Ramondelli to draw me a Tankor! If only I had not waited... I can only hope that he'll return next year so I can get him to do one...

Also got a Pizza Party styled Tankor from Josh Perez! What an awesome person! He was great and was kind enough to give this to me for free!

Oh, man, that is awesome, that Tankor art.

Surprised you didn't get John-Paul Bove to color any of it; he was doing coloring at the con itself of commissions other people did. Got a nice Lugnut print from him/Casey - will have to upload tonight.

Silas had the Cookie Monster prints, and the Trypticon is from Andrew Griffiths.

Indeed! Casey Coller did a mighty fine job!

Oh, was John-Paul doing that? I had not realized. Would have been cool to have him colour this. Ooh Lugnut you say? He's my favourite TFA character, I'd love to see the artwork!
