Same with CIBC.

Or if you want to walk 21 min to an RBC ATM, it's 6880 Financial Drive.

Re: TFcon related questions

Maybe it depends on the bank branch, but in my experience you just have to pay an extra fee to use a non-your own branch ATM (At least, that's the case with TD.)

That said, best time to hit up the hotel ATM is Friday night/early Saturday, before it depletes. Good luck getting anything out of it Sunday.

...And moving on, another question - do we need printouts of the EventBrite tickets, or is it enough to have them on our phone in the app?

Most bank machines will now charge you a "service fee" if you're not a client of theirs.I hardly do it but i think it's $1.50-$2.00

Last year I used my phone, worked fine.

Re: TFcon related questions

It makes it much easier for staff to read if it is printed out. This helps the line move quicker as well

So did I; I just want to make sure. I know with some conventions it streamlines stuff if they have a QR code scanner.

Re: TFcon related questions

Thanks guys, I haven't starved yet. I'm just so used to eating lunch-food for breakfast at home that I'm happy to start my day with a burger (though I end it with a salad in that case).

I think the real question is WILL THE BAR SERVE PITCHERS OF KOOL AID?

Re: TFcon related questions

I don't think I've ever done general admission before.

Is everyone who gets general admission in a single line, or is there a way to pay for it in advance and go ahead of people who are still waiting to pay? (I guess I'm just wondering if I should show up early or not.)

General admission is just a stamp on the hand? Can I get that on my forearm or something so I can wash my hands and still get back in, or what?

Fortunately the Hotel is on top of it and restocks it multiple times through the weekend now as they are familiar with the demand. Still a good idea to bring cash with you though.
