Re: The Masterpiece Appreciation and Speculation Thread

For me, the new 3.0 Prime reminds me of the animation model from the first season of G1 Sunbow cartoons. More slender and heroic looking.

2.0 Prime blocky-stlye always reminds me of the '86 movie and some season 2 episodes like Day of the Machines.

Different animation styles and studios working on the original cartoon which has resulted in different toys being produced by folks who have a different opinion of the definitive version of a character.

Neither style is wrong but they appeal to different tastes.

I got an email from Nippon-Yasan this morning saying my MP Dinobot has been shipped. Can't wait to see this magnificent beast in-hand!

https://www.amiami.com/eng/detail?gcode=FIGURE-119377

Amiami has their link up for the new Starscream Masterpiece. I'm sure other retailers will follow shortly.

I find it funny that the pull off the Macross GERWALK mode too in promo pics.

It looks very nice, and it will fit right in with prime 3.0 and megs. However, not sure how I feel about upgrading all my seekers. I will probably get one if the price is good.

How much lag is there with A3&U pre-orders? I haven't pre-ordered from them before. Also, I guess I'll have to source the pin somewhere else.

Oh, last thing, do they charge your CC right away or when it ships?

Thanks!

charges as it ships but you can pay up front as well. option for either is at checkout.

impossible to say when they ship as they are at the mercy of hasbro distribution but it's not like they sit on figures for longer than they have to. I received supermegatron today from them but on the other hand they dont have wave 2 earthrise like every other canadian retailer.
