I'm not the type of person to easily mingle and chat, but at least I got to put some faces to screen names that I either read or hear about on TFW. I did at least have the guts to finally go up to Chris in the dealer room and get a photo with him(what a fanboi, right?).

Wife and I made a pact that we wouldn't go to any restaurants that we have in America (we cheated on Sun morning McD breakfast). That Swiss Chalet down the street on Erin Mills was delicious, best rotisserie chicken we've had in forever. We actually went back again so we could split the brownie sundae (which was huge). Had to look up wtf a Caesar was after seeing it everywhere. Tim Horton's fruit explosion muffins ftw!

Can't wait to see some of the pictures. I'd like to see the Saturday group photo captioned where everyone names who they are. Oh, and the video of the podcast should be great.

I take it you and the wife will be back next year?

Depends on finances but I'd love to. Maybe bring the kids next time. Our oldest (just turned 7) kept calling it our 2nd honeymoon. First trip ever without the kids (thanks mom!)

Either that or Auto Assembly next - done one BotCon (2010 in my backyard), one TFCon, now for something even farther!

Had a blast at the customizing class. Met Matrix Holder, General Tekno, Hard Return, Colton and Rich.

Had a great time the whole weekend. James Roberts' panel and the 3rd party panel were also highlights.

My favorite part was when Chris got me a gun for the Faction Feud contest. Muh-hahahahahaa!

Highlights (Saturday):

• Meeting Marilyn Lightstone:Although the other VA Guests (Dick,Jack,and Venus) were absolutely a treat,Marilyn stood out from the rest.She is polite,discreet,and humourous,and a great person to converse with,from Hanna-Barbera to about the troubling marketing decisions of animated films affecting voice-over.

• Getting all my shopping done before setting foot in the Dealer Room.Also,Gokaiger role-play gear!

• Shaking hands with Venus Terzo after her panel:Let's just say she was lured by a chipmunk hand-puppet with Skywarp wing attachments

• Seeing Guber after believing he wasn't going to make it:This man is the spirit of TFCon,and pretending to be his 'Knock Out FanGirl' with a 15-year-old girl at the Script Reading was a riot

• Drunk interview with Sageogfruit

• Dinner with the Preorder66 crew

• Winning the 'Front in line for autographs' certificate in the Charity Auction for $60.A win/win situation

Highlights (Sunday):

• Getting a ride to TFCon by Adam (TheJackSack) and Javier (JaviFuentes) in time for the autograph session:These men are my heroes and I owe them everything for it

• Finishing the autograph session in 5 minutes

• Sharing lunch with Venus Terzo:I recommend scallops to everyone

• Flirting with Jack Angel:He was pretty cool with it and played along,lol

• Inspired by Ian's Lugnut/Kermit picture,myself,Brent (malwave),stormrave,and mumps went over the limit and decide to put Lugnut with a Rocklord,a plush Swerve from Mazzlebee,and a Strika toy.

• Getting a Quintesson at the Dealer Room.

• The TFW Panel:Stu (Nemesis Predaking) shooting Brent constantly by a Nerf gun was great!Special thanks to BunnyCliff for that request.

• Virus is sold out

• Getting the Preorder66 and Jon Spannring (New Jon!) to sign the TFCon program book for Braden (Maloknazh)

• Never Gonna Give You Up:Found out recently that an indie radio station has put that song for a week in promotion for their launch.They'll stop using it on Wednesday

Saturday night after party, that is as specific as I can get about it. lol

But damn was it amazing to actually meet so many great people. I even ended up hugging and chilling and sharing laughs with people I usually but heads with online.

Truely a great experience. I know next year I will get a room there and spend the weekend. It is a must.

Jack Angel was a Highlight, He kept stopping to talk to my little guy in the stroller and you can hear Ultra Magnus still in his normal voice, so that was pretty cool. Too bad we didn't have the camera handy at the time. But he must have stopped to talk 5 different times throughout the weekend.
