I'm sure (hope) that embelishment is put in for the Kids, as an adult fan watching it hard not to criticize those points though, I myself try to let them slip nowing I'm watching a show for kids more so.
Watching it again I enjoyed Liea, you could see her take charge atitude that showed up in the first movie, and is easy to see her progress to the first scene in ANH.
