Gun Accessories?

Hey Guys,

I was surfing here or TFW2005, I can't remember where it was, but someone had mentioned some gun packs you can buy for transformers or gundams or any robot toys.

I think they come in packs of 3 or 4 guns, and there are something like 15 different sets that you can get. But for the life of me I can't remember the name of these gun sets. Anyone know what the heck I am talking about???

Thanks

Re: Gun Accessories?

i think it was either "armored core" or gundam, but i think the guns also came with gun racks to store them which makes me lean more towards it being gundam.

Re: Gun Accessories?

I remember seeing these at a couple shows. They were for gundam, and they sold them like gashapon in little bags as slight variations on the weapons that came with the models. Don't know if any transformers could carry them. Maybe alternators.

Re: Gun Accessories?

There are Armored Core Weapons sets by Kotobukiya that you can buy. They're made for 1/72 scaled Armored Core ACs, which stand roughly 16-17cm tall. That puts the weapons roughly in scale with non-UC-era 1/100-scale Gundams, or approximately Voyager/Alternator size TFs.

The Japanese Kotobukiya site for their Armored Core stuff. Scroll down to the bottom with the other products, and it'd be anything that's labeled with "ACW-XYZ", where "XYZ" is some number.

Re: Gun Accessories?

Those will definitely not fit into your typical deluxe domestic Transformers. You'll have to mod them for them to fit into the hand hole.

They will only fit into Transformers with hands that can be manipulated. Only the Alternators and Masterpieces come to mind.

I bought myself some 1/6 scale rifles and pistols for my Gundams a few years ago.
Nothing like a Gundam packin' heat with a '9 mil in one hand and a colt rifle in the another.

Which gives me the idea...Nemesis Prime with a fully automatic machine gun with drum barrel...I don't think Masterpieces' will work, they're too big.
