I've decided not to go with this version of prime, because of all the problems/differences I've read about. I'd probably go with the Encore edition when I eventually get one.

No one really knows actual release dates to the day, it depends on so many factors. As with any new release it will be front paged.

another thing to is that hasbro will never ever have the BALLS!! to reissue G1 megatron well at least to try to make him a brighter white color and BAM! but there too freaking scared all beacause he's a damn plastic toy gun

They are bound by law to not make him...hardly scared

Well, they could probably make him, but I don't think they could sell him, and certainly not as a toy...

I'm happy with my G1 figure I got, even though it seems to be a european version...

I see no reason why they couldn't make a g1 megs, just don't display it as a gun in the box. Keep it in bot mode with no images of the gun mode and no instructions on transforming it into a gun. This way they can't be blamed if people voluntarily change it into a gun

They could always reissue him in purple and neon green and mold a permanent orange plastic plug into the barrel. But I guess that defeats the purpose of a reissue. A G1 Megatron that looks like Classics Megatron... man that would be awesome!

Glue all the joints in robot mode on G1 Meg and you're good for a US reissue.

I would be down for a toon accurate G1 Megatron, molded in the same black, gray, and red plastics that Animated Megatron received. I wouldn't even mind the orange safety tip.
