This is well outside of my budget, but I couldn't help myself and its for a good cause.

Massive props to MakeToys, I've always thought their toys were awesome, this is my second purchase from them, but I'll be paying them all the more attention in the future because of this.

Sadly, they probably won't sell too many since most of the collectors already got one if they wanted one. Still a very nice thing to do from them. Are Canadians involved in the company?

Do the same for Vulcan and I'm all over it. Nice of them to do though, loads of companies are helping out with this. Banks are suspending mortgage payments and contact companies are sending free boxes of contacts to their customers. People literally just left with what they were wearing since many got evacuated while at work and didn't have a chance to go home to grab anything. Sadly that means lots and lots of pets didn't get out.

Wow, that's really great of them to donate all of the sales for this figure to the cause. I've never had much of an interest in Inferno before but this is a very good incentive. Mad respect for the thoughtful gesture, especially since they're based out in Japan and probably have their own relief efforts to contend with in their own country from all the earthquakes their region has experienced over the last few years.

Re: Maketoys Hellfire ? Fort McMurray Donations

For anyone who cares about this kind of thing, they're calling this a limited edition, but the toy is the same and so is the packaging. A special sticker will be added "to the package", which doesn't sound like its for the toy, but the box. See their Facebook post (and replies to replies) for more details.

From a reply to a reply: "The figure itself is not different. The box is also not different but we will be adding a sticker to the box so that you know that you did indeed donate to the Red Cross."

Not that any of this stopped me from buying one within minutes of learning about it, and it shouldn't stop you either. But yeah, some people expect something really different when they read LE, so for those people, here is your heads-up.

Again, props to MakeToys for their massive generosity.
