MP-47 Hound has Shipped!

Opened mine up and the only thing that stands out in alt mode is that 1 of these looks more like a painted over crack then the other side, which looks more like a mold mark, so I'm not sure which it is. I figured if you all had the same marks in the same spots I'd know it's just the mold.

OK thanks. My paint is a bit... I dunno, almost like someone dabbed a few spots with a sponge, giving it a bit of texture, but it's to random to be on purpose, but other than that, I won't know more until I try to pull this thing apart without it FALLING apart. lol


Luckily the paint thing is really only visible if I'm trying to give Hound a kiss... (which BTW I have not, nor will I be doing......)

I find it odd that they've stuck with this matte look (other then this figure maybe) when 3P's are putting out "metallic's" and they're selling out in pre-orders in minutes.

The Fanstoys paintjobs look pretty good with that metallic fleck looking paint. It's not super noticeable but gives off that premium look. But you're right about really metallic paint, it looks terrible most of the time.

I transformed mine from Jeep to bot then back in Jeep. It's has some tricky parts but overall not too frustrating. It's was just a bit tricky to fit the arms back into the engine bay.

I like the matt paint. It's more realistic like actual military vehicles.

I had some initial concern over the "floating head" but It's not that bad on mine. I wish there's a "trap door" on the hood's Autobot symbol and the head click into place. I guess that may ruin the hood's open gimmick?

Other than that, the seats are way too small in Jeep mode. I wish they are bigger.
