Re: Post your hauls
Whooo. Just got these in-hand from a friend in NYC that received them about a month ago for me.
- Super Robot Chogokin - Alt Eisen [ MISB, from Amazon.com]
- Super Robot Chogokin - Weiss Ritter [ MISB, from Amazon.com]
And that adds to my Super Robot Taisen shelf: Volks Variable Box SRX (back), Composite Ver.Ka Exbein (front left), SRC Weiss Ritter and Alt Eisen (right):
I was originally gonna get the already-released Composite Ver.Ka Cybuster, but I was told that it was crap, so I'll wait for the SRC version to come out instead.

Maaaaan that SRX Looks awesome…how's the Exbien? I see it on slash and burn clearance all the time and it's quite tempting…a bit surprised you don't own the SOC Dygenguar set yet.
As a side note, I picked up my first air brush today:

The Exbein is alright. The figure itself is fine, but the paint apps are really hit-or-miss. And I'm surprised I don't own the SoC Dyzengar yet either.
How much did you pay for the airbrush? I'm asking mainly because my recommendation is always to get a dual-action, internal-mixing airbrush (yours in single-action, external-mixing). You'll get better paintjobs that way.

About 48$. I'm pretty new to airbrushing and the guy at the model shop suggested I pick that one up.
I'll probably buy a better quality one once I get use to the airbrush I have now.

Ok cool.
It's just that, with airbrushes, you tend to outgrow cheap ones pretty quickly.
The Iwata Eclipse HP-SBS (internal-mixing, dual-action, http://www.iwata-medea.com/products/...clipse/hp-sbs/) ran about $90 when my then-girlfriend (now wife) bought it for me back in 2009. The compressor I got at the same time was about $120.
