Re: The World Cup Thread
Germany 4-0.
Utter defeat for Argentina.
This is a list I made 2 days into the WC. Should have went in a pool. A little off but not by much.

Re: The World Cup Thread
Unexpected events today.
Argentina vs. Germany:What else can I say,but another Hispanic team was sacrificed ever since Muller won the first goal.Argentina continued to attack against the goalie Neuer, but they couldn't go through him.Inevitably,by the Second Half,Klose scored the second goal, followed by Freidrich shortly after.Argentina didn't manage to score once, and Klose,at the final moments of the game, scored again. The team was defeated, unable to fulfil the prediction of a Hispanic team winning the World Cup.Game ends with 0-4.
Paraguay vs. Spain:And another Hispanic team is sacrificed by the European team.Everything was at a stalemate,as both teams attacked. However, with the team against the likes of David Villa,it was bound to occur that he will score like every game he's played before. No matter what occurred after Villa's goal, the team of Paraguay was bound to go home.Game ends with 0-1.
And so,the Semi Finals now begin. On Tuesday, the first match will begin with Uruguay vs. Holland. Will Forlan and his team make it in the end?Or will the new team of Holland get the upper hand?

Re: The World Cup Thread
And so...
Uruguay vs. Holland:It was the start of the Semi Finals and people assume that without Saurez,Holland will have an easier chance of winning.Though, with or without him,the European team can still fight against the Hispanic team. The first goal for Holland has been shot.Everyone assume that the sayings are true...that Uruguay may not come out for the Final after all. However,Forlan, ever so determined, scored the first goal for Uruguay. It seems like it's anyone's guess at the First Half.
However,at the Second Half, things started to turn.Holland scored not one,but two more goals in an interval of less than ten minutes. The team is secure, but Uruguay continued to attack regardless. However, with a few minutes of the end of the game, and with Forlan gone...what now? Will Uruguay go home tonight? But what's this?Pereira comes in and score the second goal? What does this mean?Could it be that Uruguay would have a chance to tie?
It almost seemed likely,as they constantly attacked during the extra three minutes.Everyone continue to watch, including the referee, who hasn't called the game after three minutes has passed. If only Forlan and Saurez were there in the field, instead of watching the possible last chance for their team.At five minutes,it ended.Uruguay goes home, but they had their chance, and they will fight for third very very soon.Game ends with 2-3.
So tomorrow will be the rematch of the European Cup 2008.Germany vs. Spain. Will David Villa and Fernando Torres go up against the likes of Klose,Podolski, and Ozil? Are they the last chance to have a Spanish-speaking team to win the World Cup?Stay tuned.
