Damn Evenstaves, sorry to hear about that. These little QC problems really suck.


On a side note, I forgot to mention that I actually overpaid for my preorder. They didn't give me the Edge discount when I paid for the preorder. On the plus side of that I was given a bit over $26 dollars store credit and put it towards my GI Joe Classified Croc Master.

Attempted to follow suit as OP, called GameStop and described the issue “Hey I just bought this from ur store like 40 mins ago and (problem)”

Dude says they only got the one in, so they can’t do an exchange - i asked if they could get another copy in from a different store, he said due to the exclusive nature of the item (and prob the size too) stores only get in as many as were ordered - he couldn’t guarantee that they’d be able to find another

Suggested I contact Hasbro to see about replacement parts, which I did - but I asked him to see if they can wrangle another BZ in the meantime

I really wanted to mess around with this guy tonight, but now I’m in the “am I returning this whole thing, or just getting new horn(s) in the mail” so leaving him alone until I know which way it’s goin

I bought mine from the website and just went back to the store where they applied the discount (with Onyx discount I paid $195 after tax).

Just got off the horn w/ Hasbro Customer Service, they sent me an email to provide details on the figure (serial number etc), maybe they can do something after all? We'll see

Hasbro QC is so questionable. BUT I will say staying on top of Customer service they will get you a solution.

My Pulse Unicron came with two left hands. (yup I'm that guy.) After a very lengthy back and forth with customer service they sent me another one. (I had to send them pieces of the original one they sent.) But short story long, I have 1.5 Unicrons, able to display one in robot mode, one in planet mode All thanks to customer service (well and some 3D prints from a fellow .ca-er)

Keep on Hasbro and you may get a new Zarak and be left with a junker for parts too

They've done that for me too. I had a Studio Series figure with some sort of qc issue (don't remember exactly what) and they sent me a brand new copy of the figure after contacting them. Pretty good service.
