like Pascal said, HLJ does that all the time. They switch to discontinue when they are about to receive an item and aren't sure they will be able to take more orders.

Talk about retarded news, it's just one retailer that says it's "Discontinued" in their archaic and old inventory system. I can't believe that news is based off of what hlj's inventory system says.
