Their shipping is the higher out of all online TF retailers, to the point where they were never the cheaper option for me compared to others, and thus I never ordered from them.

Re: Quick questions on Robotkingdom

Robotkingdom's shipping charges are significantly higher than any other etailer I have dealt with. That being said, my item was shipped quickly and well-packaged. I can't speak to their customer service, as there were no issues with my order.

Re: Quick questions on Robotkingdom

I was going to order their copy of Iron Factory Blaster set and they where going to charge me $34 US for shipping because of weight...weight they said. I'm never going to buy from them again, I'll take my chances with eBay or local sellers. EBay will get my money back if something happens and I have some great sellers here in Toronto and GTA.

Yeah, shipping cost is my biggest gripe with them. I wonder if their calculator is a flat rate for North America or Canada. I have never tried putting a postal code in BC to compare against mine in Montreal, but if it's the same price I guess I'll have my answer.

Re: Quick questions on Robotkingdom

it is true that shipping is costly. I used EMS all the time, and mostly my packages arrive in a week or less. they normally get the new items first before other retailers. trick is buy lots with them to save shipping. if you are just going to buy one item, just forget it if you are to complain about the shipping cost.

It's super expensive to BC so my guess is same across Canada

As you keep on adding do you get hit with duties and or extra fees?

No. They will ask you or you can state that you want the package to be registered at a certain price. If you don't mention it they will put on the real total of goods purchased.

yes, you still get hit with duties too, sometimes not, which is weird. i bought my takara coneheads with them, and no custom fees, but when I hit the $500 mark with bunch of stuff, I got hit with fees and that's ok. I still save a little and got my toys first than any. just play around with cost and everything and see what suits you best. RK is not always my option to buy my toys anyway. that's my experience from RK.

Re: Quick questions on Robotkingdom

Shipping is a little high but usually still cheaper than US retailers since their prices are usually cheaper than the North American retailers. I have ordered many items from them. I have not had any issues with items. Their customer service is good too very responsive to emails and inquiries.
