Re: Ontario non sightings community chat.

^^ Unfortunately that is par for the course at Walmart and it's rare for dept managers to know where half their stuff is much less answer the phone. Sad really but it is a reality, especially they way they keep moving them around the store

Re: Ontario non sightings community chat.

okay I get that they move them around the store but a department is only so big with only so many items in it so it should not take the average person that works it everyday or every other day for 4-8 hours a day not that long to learn it even if you are moving from department A to department B. I say it is a lack of pride in ones job, and don't say it is hard to have pride in your work when it is crap and the pay is crap because I did it for a lot of years and I had pride in it everyday no one should ever be ashamed on how they make money they should be prideful that they are productive member of society. Trust me it makes a lot of difference when you show pride and people do notice.

Call #1. Call toy section directly - no answer.
Call #2. Call customer service, ask to talk to toys, get stuck on hold for 10 minutes, hang up.
Call #3. Call CS again, tell them what happened last call, explain what I want & what I'm looking for, get put on hold. 5 minutes later she comes back saying "We have a few Transformers figures. We have Hero Mashers, is that what you're looking for?", "No.", "We also have a Optimus Prime.", "Oh, ok, thanks."

I guess I'm back to going personally every other day to check!
It really is sad... but that's how it goes these days... the only manager I've had any luck with at all was the store manager at The TRU at markville, he went checked the back for me even looked it up to see where the order was.... in transit and told me to call back... periodically.

Walmart employees don't know whats going on and most of them don't really care either. It's better to just check yourself... but your frustrations are heard!! I sent Hasbro customer service an email about us not getting the comic books with wave 1 figures let alone the latest wave 2 characters. Their response... it is what it is lol....

Re: Ontario non sightings community chat.

You can thank Quebec for us not getting the comics. It's got nothing to do with Hasbro.

But I don't care about them. I collect the regular comics already; I don't need reprints of last years comics packed in with my toys.
The only reason I'd like to see the comics with the toys would be to introduce kids to the comics. Maybe if they liked them they might want to just get the comics in general.

Re: Ontario non sightings community chat.

Just wondering, has anyone in the Durham Region or GTA been to Comic Alley Toys in Oshawa yet ???? I was driving by and didn't even know about it so I read their facebook page and apparently they deal in vintage toys and they just got in some G1 TF's so I was wondering if anyone has been there and if so what kind of stock do they have and what are there prices like. I don't get out that way much anymore so I am just putting it out there. Thanx.

Re: Ontario non sightings community chat.

Has anyone bothered checking Superstores for anything new?

I'm just wondering if I should bother.

To be honest I don't think it would hurt but I haven't checked one in at least a year
