Looks as if those two Voyager and the Wheelie have SKU-SKN numbers matching Combiner Wars, but the rest have new numbers...so that explains the pricing...not sure if that is an error or not, but it is odd some legends have the SKU and others do not....I picked the cheaper ones up just in case....

Re: Titans Return preorders at TRU.ca
Having spent some time comparing the Takara and Hasbro versions of some of these figures, I think I know why they're so different: Hasbro is basing its color scheme on the original G1 toys, and Takara is mimicking the G1 animation colors. Blurr is the most drastically different, and still looks like he's lacking paint detail, but he's not far off his G1 toy.

Re: Titans Return preorders at TRU.ca
Thanks for the links. Like others have said, wave 1 should be plentiful, so I'll wait for retail since I only want Wheelie and Hardhead.

It's totally up to you.
Personally I tend to prefer more toy inspired decos. I think cw Bruticus is much nicer than uw. Combined wars is clearly more based on the toy decos, uw cartoon,
Then there is price. I don't usually see Takara as worth twice the price (really more with tru's very regular sales).
On bigger items sometimes the price difference is less. I AM getting uw computron. Was able to get it around 130 cdn. As the hasbro box set is 150 (really 100-110 with the inevitable sale), it's not such a big price gap for the version I think looks better.
What is your budget, what looks nicer to you, and is it worth it?

I think PM Prime is the only one I plan on getting Takaras version. Though the less dark purple on Galvatron looks nicer on Takara,s not sure the pricetag is worth it.

the figures aren't much more if you shop smart and buy overseas and save some cash on takara figures.

Re: Titans Return preorders at TRU.ca
I could be wrong, but doesn't TRu use Purolator? I only ordered from them once and it was, by default, Purolator. But yes, they were a pain to deal with and kept sending my package to the wrong address. Doesn't instill a pile of confidence.
