Hmm. Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter!
Does your formula work for other collectibles?

Not necessary Despite the fact that Transformers are marketed towards boys, there are still plenty of female Transformers fans out there.

Re: Quizzed my Gal today;
Your Gals knows a decent amount.
Most people I know are shocked that my favourites aren't Optimus Prime or Bumblebee but charecters like Shockwave, Rodimus, BW Depthcharge, Hotshot and Crosswise. I don't think some fans even know Crosswise. lol

And that's the origin of your username revealed!
The only version of Crosswise I'm familiar with is the RID version.

Yeh, well she initially only really knew the basics, Prime and Bee but ever since I bought all the seasons on DVD,we've watched all episodes together. Now it's become something we do on a normal basis, I've bought the 200x He-man, original He-man and She-ra,etc. We're going into Thundercats next and maybe Gi joe next. She really just got into it. Onc Beast Wars hits dvd i'll show her the glory of that too.

It wasn't that daunting to remember, it had just happened about 45 mins before I posted and it was so funny that I couldn't really forget. I left some out to boot!

I know what you mean, whenever I get asked who my favorite character is, most people reply "Who the hell is Sunstreaker?" I mean to us, we know most of those characters but I suppose it can't be expected from everyone to know what we know.

I kinda give these little speeches of how to go about it at the Toycon's I sell at in Montreal. Namely cause guys drag their girlfriends with and introduce me to them (to show that you can be HARDCORE and still normal) and then I school them.

Re: Quizzed my Gal today;
My better half, just keeps on telling me, keep it in the spare bedroom and in the showcase in the living room. So far the show case has tripled in size..... Still in the showcase hunny.lol.
But yeah, I don't get any of that negative talk about when are you going to give up,collecting/hording those toys. Its more like so you know your going to have to buy two of a those figure once we have kids right. Cause you know your not going to let them play with daddies toys. So I figure she good with the collecting lol.
In regards to her knowing the characters it got as far as Bumblebee, starscream and ravage and oh yeah that Optimus Prime Guy. lol. She really cracks me up sometimes.
Sadly she always calls Soundwave, Cassetteman. Which is right if we were talking pre-TF.

Does your formula also work with girls introducing TFs to their guys,or is that a whole system altogether?
