Not a problem. I think you'll actually enjoy his firm arms, and tight body now.

Who says junkers can't become display pieces.... Left over Gnaw.

Grimlock

Don't you hate when this happens....

Thankfully, I still retained my original Grimlock from when I was a child. The sad news however, is that after a closer examination, the MIB Grimlock was a 1980 Takara mold.... meaning it had a lot of variant differences due to using the original Diaclone mold. Luckily, I was able to retain the majority.

Fully restored minus reprolabels.

Swoop

Well a few weeks back I found myself an extremely MINT G1 Swoop. However, the red chest just wasn't cutting it. So I took it upon myself to source a KO Diaclone variant, and only swap out the pieces needed.

What you see above retains 95-98% of the original, however, I was thoroughly impressed with overall quality of the KO. Not only was the plastic quality the same, it featured all the necessary date stamps, but they also went ahead and improved the mold in a variety of ways. Case in point, the missile launchers, as you can see below, on the left we have the original, and on the right we have the KO. The KO uses an long and much strong spring, in which swapping it into the original G1 missile launcher, I was then able to run the gold chrome missiles making Swoop even more Cartoon accurate.

Cartoon accurate Dinobots.... with basic part swapping.
