My build

Awhile back I picked up a few bots that I thought would be cool to try and combine. I have never tried this before so I am open for suggestions or ideas. I enjoy painting and look forward to getting this done... Albeit it will take some quality hobby time. 40K included.
I want to create a Samurai themed gestalt with my Dark Angel nemesis colour scheme.
I bought a Banzaitron mold that I want to use as the upper torso. I bought a couple PCC combiners as feet. Same mold for symetry. I have been wondering if I should make a Frakenspike or go likewise molds for symetrical appearance. I have a Tomahawk mold for and arm and a Terradive seeker mold for the front torso plate. Was thinking that a Universe Prowl mold should be another. Got to get him at TFcon this year. (another to my wants list...)
I was in Giant Tiger and they are liquidating the two HFTDs so that was cool.
PCCs molded to the Drift and Blurr legs.
Now the issues that I have. Articulation and attachment. Molded earth magnets come to mind for combining points. other ideas? Articulation has me stumped. Ball joints and Alumilite is all I can think of. Thats as far as I gotten. A voyager class main torso with deluxe class main appendages.

Re: My build

You might want to consider using Lego Bionicle and Technics pieces to aid in the connection and articulation. Plastic weld works very well to glue things together (but smells really bad).

You should post some pictures when you get a chance.

Re: My build

My concept so far. A few pics and ideas

My main guy. I like the idea of a Whirlwind Banzaitron.

The PCCs I chose for feet

My Torso idea. Working with the idea of a wingblade theme...

Quickly laid out. Trying my Blurr as a leg.

Tomorrow I go to Efston's to get some mags. I am glad they are cheap. I am thinkin of CD Devy Fists. I am hoping to trade some at this years TFCon.

Re: My build

My roster for this project as it sits so far. I would like to thank Christie for the Universe Prowl. Picked him up at the TFCon trading party Friday evening.

I would really like to that the guys for their wise words and inspiration. Your all Yoda's to me and have taken your thoughts and ideas and will try to incorporate them into my build. I can't wait to take this to the next level with a mock up and test runs for combinations. Will post more as things develop. Thanks for looking.

Re: My build

It was very cool to talk to you at TFCon. As I said there I wish you the best of luck with this project & don't give up on what you see in your head.
