Re: transformers doodles

its been 3 years since i did the truck one.i think i actually started out trying to draw energon prime.some how it turned into that.as soon as i get some quiet time i may just try doing a "revised" bot mode for prime.btw,im still not sure if here is the place to ask but here goes nothing! im also in the progress of bashing a 4 foot tall classics fortress maximus.heres the thing, do you know of any toy line or ANYTHING equivalant to being a ball joint with a 2 and a half inch overall diameter? thanks dak!

Re: transformers doodles

that's one big ball! I can't think of anything off the top of my head besides a metal mechanical ball joint used for large machinery... The only real problem I see using ball joints on such a large scale is the weight of the part might be too much for it to handle. i think a clicking joint would be a better choice, or something similar. If I see something I'll let you know.

Re: transformers doodles

mainly because ive already prefabbed the upper thighs and they ended up 2 inches by 3 inches by 12 inches long just to be some what proportionate to the rest of him.i think i may have to take your advice and use clicking joints.i just dont like how paint basically falls off those kind of joints.is there a way to change the colors on those kind of joints without dying it? vinyl maybe??
