Ratchet and Ironhide from Towline with Custom Heads WIP

Basing them on the Gen-1 color scheme, these are 2 guys that I'm guessing have been done previously, and now I'm attempting them. I got them underway pretty quickly, paint took to them perfectly, all even and smooth..Now just letting them cure, then move on to detailing and more drying, then finish etc. Pics of the heads and Sunstorm a bit later.

Niiiice, I remember first seeing this mold and thinking right away these would make perfect a G1 Ratchet and Ironhide...then botcon took them...but word has it when will be released in the classics line, if Hasbro fails on them I may have to get 2 more Towlines and do it myself too

Yeah, I really like how the paint laid down on these. the temp had jumped to 65 and I got a lot done, only to 24hrs later get blanketed in a deep layer of ice here..

Anyways, no, I didn't scuplt the head, the guy who commissioned these got them, and wanted them put on instead of the Towline heads. Grimlock79 on the other boards, but I have no idea where he got them from.

Thanks, glad you're liking them...Here's more updates..heads, toe guns, and hands and forarms painted, still need to do the eyes, and then just the touch ups and details.
