MP Sunstorm

I know several others have attempted this, so I decided to make my Sunstorm unique. I chose to go with something a little closer to the yellow
seen in More than Meets the Eye, rather than the creamsicle orange used by the E-Hobby repaints. I'm honestly not 100% happy with the metallic colour I found, but I simply couldn't find the perfect colour at model or automotive stores.
I always thought Sunstorm was a flamboyant character, so I added a simple flame pattern to his wings and forward fuselage.

As you can see, I've done the leg mod. I've also modded his waist, so he can turn more to either side. The Sunstorm decals on the base were designed by sodawilly and made by Repolabels; props to them. I plan to sell him in the near future.
Enjoy!

Re: MP Sunstorm

I used a combination of Tamiya synthetic lacquers (the white, red, and orange), and an oil enamel (the gold). Almost everything was spray painted (I don't own an airbrush), which involved tedious amounts of masking. Fine details were brushed on (wingtip lights, cannon detail). Everything was then top-coated with an industrial clear lacquer.
