Re: Canadian Slag Episode 17 - HEAD ON!

Not quite....but after years of ruling he really let himself go...

Actually Galvatron was encased under an iceberg by the headmasters....ya you read that right...he's eventually brought back and rebuilt into Super Megatron (no not this site's administrator :P) in Battlestars.

Super Megatron on the left, Ultra Megatron (his upgrade) on the right...Notice another more recent Megatron inspired by Super/Ultra Megatron?

Galvatron gets caught in the explosion in the center of Cybertron, but oddly SURVIVES. He shows up later on and tries to take command back from Scorponok/Mega Zarak but later is buried by the Headmaster Autobots under a mountain of ice in Alaska (Hrrrmm........... 2007 movie). He would be revived years later by Dark Nova (A Unicron like being) and reborn a new, striped away from his Galvatron anger and Unicronian self serving goals. Now known as Super Megatron. He would go on to live to fight another day in Battlestars "Return on Star Convoy", G2 mangas and beyond.

Re: Canadian Slag Episode 17 - HEAD ON!

I was actually referring to the part where "Galvatron cried out in agony when Galvatron died".

Re: Canadian Slag Episode 17 - HEAD ON!

That was the mistake, Galvatron cried out in agony when Soundwave died....but he rebuilt him, they had the technology...faster, stronger...etc.

Oh my bad. Slip of the tongue.

Here is a video that compares BOTH Galvatron screams, warning, the dub sounds like he is vomitting.

Re: Canadian Slag Episode 17 - HEAD ON!

Another really solid episode. Great Job!

I have to agree with Proto on a lot of issues about Headmasters. That series really fell off for me after Rodimus and company decided to leave and wander the universe.

I do like the intial eight or so episodes, like the Soundwave vs Blaster battle, the double Prime's and the general story until Rodimus up and leaves.

Even the Sixshot episode where he's appearing on earth in all his different modes to terrorize the human cities is cool enough in its own strnage way.

That said I never did get past episode 16 or so of this series because the Headmaster characters just couldn't carry it by themselves(with respect to the Battle Beasts)

Arcee was horrible, though Wheelie and Daniel more or less stay as I think of them from what I've seen.

Blurr is a favorite character of mine as well, both G1 and Animated(which is basically G1 again). Cool stuff!

and it's a shame, they introduce so many new characters (toys) and none of them really clicked....... cept one group and they came RIGHT at the end of the series, the Autobot Targetmasters, Pointblank (Blanker) is just so bad ass.....
