Re: Canadian Slag Episode 15 - Shooting the Slag

Great episode, guys. You all watched alot of the same shows as me. Although I think I'm a couple years younger than you guys. I'll list a few shows I watched as a kid in no particular order:
Bucky O-Hare
Samurai Pizza Cats
Stone Protectors(basicly Trolls for boys)
Denver the Dinosaur
TMNT
Super Mario Super Show
C.O.P.S.(the cartoon, not the real ones, although I did watch that too)
Beetlejuice
WildCATS
Toxic Crusaders
Street Sharks
Freakazoid
Mutant League
Mummies Alive
Mighty Ducks
Mega Man
Powerpuff Girls
Carmen Sandiego
Card Captors
Johnny Quest(the horrible CGI version)
Voltron(again, another horrible CGI cartoon)
Just to name a few.
And of course I watched Disneys One Saturday Morning with Doug and Pepper Ann, and all the Nickelodeon shows they air on YTV like Rugrats and Hey Arnord. And I watched anything made Mainframe because of their other shows like Reboot, Beasties, Shadow Raiders, Max Steel etc.
And since I am probably younger than most of you, I watching all the "pocket monster" shows. Not just Pokemon and Digimon, but Monster Rancher and Medabots and that too
But what I really liked was the slightly more serious stuff. Spiderman, X-Men, Batman, Superman, Gargoyles, and even some shows I felt I might have been too young for at the time like Cyber6,, the Maxx, and the Felix the Cat movie. Heck I think I first watched Heavy Metal when I was like 10.
I could keep going but I'd probably better stop.

Oh and I remember Bots Master, but I never had the 3D glasses.

Wow. I actually had the "Dinosaurs" CD when I was a kid, and I know for a fact my "Talking Baby Sinclair" stuffed toy is kicking around somewhere in a box in the basement.

Totally forgot about Dinosaurs. Awesome show!

Cheers!

Hmmmm,

Are these online anywhere? I would love to see Spyro the Dog right now or those weird Flowerbulb looking things that made music.

Anyone remember that weird time killing Short that used to show a teenager dreaming about snow boarding? Weird.

Here's some other Random Retro stuff

-Deke Wilson's Mini Mysteries
-Astar (I can put my arm back on)
-Putnam's Prairie Emporium
-You can't do that on Televison
-Putnam's Prairie Emporium

Oh and Protoman, I remember Bots-Master. The Robot toys are TOUGH to track down...trust me I've looked.

Cheers!
