Re: The Crap People Put on kijiji....

Well, the not G1 one certainly looks like a mistransformed Protectobot HotSpot in both modes, or probably a KO of it.

I'd say that Optimus is a vintage 2000? 2001? A cool figure without the trailer as long as he has his gun (with its wheels intact). Probably worth like $10 to $15 in that ad, I'd say. Seen him at VV a couple of times for like $5.

I really agree with you on the 25th Optimus.

And as for the box set, who's it signed by? Frank Welker, Peter Cullen, and post-humous Chris Latta? That's a crazy amount for something still on the shelves at the odd HMV for like $100 or so. Its a shame it didn't come with the movie sandwiched in there, or at least have a space to accommodate it.

But yeah. Kijiji is weird. Got some decent Nerf stuff from there though.

I don't think that's a 25th prime. The smoke stack on the left is long, but twisted forward. The right stack's upper part is obviously broken off.

That blue firetruck is G1 Hotspot terribly mis-transformed with the Gestalt head flipped out instead of the normal head.

That last prime is the cab section RID Prime aka Fire Convoy in Japan.

You can get a G1 Prime at Big B Comics too. Think it was 50.00

Re: The Crap People Put on kijiji....

the g1 prime is what it is,vintage g1.you can tell from the longer smoke stacks and the lack of front wheel axles that stick out too far.
iirc, every prime cab or u/m cab released with rubber wheels after the first vintage version of prime has the wider axles.(the reason for the wider ones was because they slid into slots in u/m's trailer in order to combine magnus into ultramagnus.

the pic of g1 hotshot as a big headed cowboy bot made me lolz though.

for the "vintage" part of rid prime, maybe because it's almost 12 years old?
the part i like is apparently, according to the seller....."the figure connects with a trailor that was sold seperately"....bwahahahaha

Awesome! I wasn't aware you could buy half of a transformer. What a great idea! I mean why buy a whole fire truck, when you can have just the front piece that resembles.....nothing.

Maybe by 'that was sold seperately' he means it was sold by HIM in a different ad but its already gone?

Last week I saw a Star Wars puzzle on the local Kijiji for $100 that is worth maybe $5.
