When do the sales usually start? Midnight tonight, or sometime in the morning? And when does the TRU call centre open? Just wondering how early I should be calling to do my price adjustments.

Ha! I've checked at 1am before. Usually the sales aren't live until more around people waking. If stores themselves are open, though, the sale is on. Check the site first before calling in. Shoullllld be a safe bet by 7-8am the sales will be in effect online.

I made mention of this in another thread, but to sum up, I've been told that Walmart won't price match the TRU sale price if there isn't a local TRU in your town. That stinks...have you guys had a different experience? I wonder if it was just the staff that I happened to get that day. I know the website has some more stringent rules for price match (such as the item must be available in stock in order for Walmart to match it), but I thought this was an easy discount. Oh well, it's not like it was a huge deal but every little bit counts....or should I say, goes towards a future TF purchase

Where ever you got the info from is correct. Even though the ad match program is national, the fine print is the the stores are only obligated to match stores within the general area. Usually what stores do is receive flyers the same way we do at home so that way they can see what people are getting at their houses so they know what to expect for ad matching. Sucks for towns that don't have TRU's in general, not just for ad matching
