Re: How are you liking CW Devastator?

I love Devestator, way more than I could have expected. Combine is friggin fantastic, vehicle modes are large and look nice, bot modes are overall really good for the simplistic designs. Longhauls bot mode is the weakest imo.
I plan on getting the upgrade kits. I dislike the combined hands which the 3P fixes and would love to extend Hooks crane and Scavengers digger. Also the elbow fixes. Gonna do that instead of getting Takara's.

I got mine on preorder at Anime-Export for $147.99 USD when the dollar was a few cents better and before they sold out.

I wish I have paid earlier It doesn't seem like Canadian Dollar will go back up in December as we are heading towards a recession.

Re: How are you liking CW Devastator?

I ordered UW04 from NY. I will pay in JPY and I am actually quite possible regarding exchange rate between JPY and CAD. Both are tanking against USD now but JPY to CAD exchange rate had been relatively stable, even favorable. It's been good time to buy Japanese stuff from Japan for the past few years.

if costco drops their price during the holidays, you're still way ahead. Free to choose any upgrades or upgrade it yourself.

40$ on metroplex last year.

If you want additional G1 guns for each of the Constructicons, Perfect Effect made an upgrade kit for CW Devy. The kit is (Perfect Combiner) PC-07. It includes 6 G1 guns for your Cons', and also 4 elbow sets to give a few constructicons movement in the elbows.

Hope that helps!

What the price (with shipping) after conversion, if you don't mind? I pre-ordered mine through AE and word was that was the best price out there (outside of shipping, that is...who knows what the final damage will be).

Without any coupons, the best price I've seen for CW Devy is at Walmart. With tax, it comes to a shade over $200. My UW Devy came to less than through AE, but I'm sure it will cost more than $20 CDN to ship it here. I won't complain if it does, of course
