Re: Star Trek Starship Collection

Everyone seems to complain about the scale.. as far as I know none of the Star Trek ships ever released are in scale. From Playmates, Diamond Select, Mattel, heroclix etc..

So what you're saying is, you're going to be buying a 6" D named Enterprise?

Unhappy Re: Star Trek Starship Collection

Man...I already have a large collection of Micro Machines, didn't finish the Japanese's Furuta collection, and got the most of the Heroclix collection too.

Not sure if I want to pull the trigger on these too.

That's why I hope to wait, I want a sweet gold collection just like JLP on TNG. Until then I will work on completing my playmates collection bit by bit.

Re: Star Trek Starship Collection

I picked up the Enterprise-D from a local store the other day and it's great even though a bit small. And yes I'd love some scaled versions but I doubt we'd ever get them.

I mean to get the detail and keep them affordable seems to be at odds haha

Especially if you include the smaller ships like the Defiant. Then the Enterprise-D would have to be 4 to 5 times larger. So either a REALLY small Defiant with hard to see details or a really large Enterprise-D (not that would be a bad thing).

Re: Star Trek Starship Collection

These Eagle Moss ships look ok-ish,not as good as the ones Johnny Lightning released years ago which were much more detailed..still, i like the magazine each of these ships come with.

Re: Star Trek Starship Collection

I bought the Enterprise D from this a little while ago from Silver Snail in Toronto and last I saw, they had the Enterprise from Enterprise. The only other one I would really want is the Enterprise E, but it will take a lot of time and money to get to number 21...

Re: Star Trek Starship Collection

Oh yeah, the Johnny Lightning ones. I have a few of those too. Still need some of the later waves though.

Re: Star Trek Starship Collection

Wow, these look really nice. Not sure on the price though. I'd like to find a decent version of the Enterprise D.
